Why do I keep seeing cat scrotums in anime/manga? They did it in Phantom World too. Is this a trope/reference that I'm missing? picrelated is renai bokun

then how do you explain two scrota showing up? It seemed like the original intent was comedic purposes for both cases. The same can be said about animal buttholes. In fact earlier this year they had a pokemon's butthole visible in a couple frames (the stupid bird with the pom poms)
