>It's managed by the same peopleNope, Nyaa (the sole proprietor of the original) isn't involved in any capacity.
>it's endorsed by HSThey chose to support it because they're unsure about the real lifetime of /g/'s project (this is realistically the biggest issue over all).
>it's the one the Japanese are usingHow could you possibly know that? Tonnes of japs are using nyaa.pantsu as well, and I know because they've posed traffic stats in the thread on /g/ before.
>they have to scrap their stuff from Nyaa.si (because they're so irrelevant that the sub creators don't even bother to upload their stuff thereThis is demonstrably false. Go to each site and look for english translated BD releases of Berserk (2016). nyaa si has one that nyaa pantsu doesn't have, and nyaa pantsu has one that nyaa si doesn't have.
>Pantsu is an archived backup of Nyaa.si at mostAs outlined above: you're full of shit.
Don't misunderstand, I miss nyaa se as well, and wish nyaa si was as great and perfect of a replacement as you're suggesting it is, but it isn't. In the long run it would probably be best if only one of them stayed open so that it can act as a central repository / defacto source again, but for the time being it's best to check both sites for releases.
