If you can't tell by the list I don't like ecchi or SoL and nothing currently airing I've already looked at all that.

Code Geass (a lot like Guilty Crown but better in every way)
Elfen Lied (just as bad and edgy as Mirai Nikki)
3-Gatsu no Lion (my favourite anime of 2016)

Area 88 (if you want to get into older anime)
Haibane Renmei (my favourite anime of all time)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (I don't like it but it's pretty much necessary to watch it)

Not in the mood for a comedy sorry.
Seen it.
I found it more silly than dark and enjoyed the show because of the story not the violence I started it and ended up getting sucked in wondering how this weak little weirdo was gonna end up on top.
It was right there I don't like SoL but if you insist I'll give it a chance.
Neat looking I'll check it out

You're welcome! And yes, Paranoia Agent is definitely "interesting and weird". Totally worth the watch.

On that note, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is the same, but the opposite, being an entirely different kind of "interesting and weird", and anything but serious. I couldn't appreciate it enough when I first saw it, but now it's hilarious, smartly satirical, and full of references I get more.
