Hi, so I recently installed a Steam game however it is not showing up in Steam. Everywhere online says to find the name of the folder which Steam uses for that game and add the folder to steam/steamapps/common, with all the game's files inside, etc.

However this is not working for me. I have the steamappid and everything, Steam seems to just refuse to pick up on the game. I've tried repairing the folder in Steam's settings and nothing. Anyone know what to do?
