My friends, drop the best sentimental anime in your opinion, well done romance is appreciated but not necessary. Hopefully there's still something good I haven't seen yet. Thanks

Oh yeah, and Koe no Katachi is even better if you want a sentimental/dramatic anime, though I would hesitate to classify it as a romance even if it looks like that. Koi to Uso delivers much more on romance though if you're looking for that. Plenty of deep kissing.

I wouldn't say I'm necessarily looking for love and kisses, for example I liked stuff like NHK and Oregairu even if there wasn't any. I've seen (and liked) KnK even though the movie is quite incomplete when compared to the manga. Maybe I should have listed what I have already seen but it would be a long list and I don't wanna annoy you, so I prefer to see what comes out from you guys' preferences. I just like well done drama possibly without too much fantasy/battles/other things thrown in the way

Kimi no Na Wa was very acclaimed. It's in deed fairly done and quite sentimental nostalgia romance.

I also cried my heart out several times with Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children). That's more of a supernatural family drama, but very intense.

Clannad is about worth when you reach second half of second season. But worth anyway.

Also Kannon has a 2006 remake that might be better

off this >>398970 chart, I would recommend True Tears, by the studio that made Angel Beats.
