The only acknowledged social issue today there is hikikomori, because the concept of otaku was stabilized and pulled back to it’s real state (because of the sheer number of otaku and their monetary effect on domestic industry).
Karoshi (forced workaholic who is literally worked to death) is really not yet socially acknowledged either, it’s just a formal reason why someone died.
