Recommend me your FAVORTE FUCKING ANIME SERIES OF ALL TIME

Steins;Gate
Neon Genesis Evangelion (+End of Evangelion)
Cowboy Bebop (+Knockin' on Heaven's Door movie)
Ping Pong the Animation
Maid Dragon
Hunter x Hunter (2011), but it has 148 episodes. Know that only 2 episodes (13 and 26) are filler. The rest all develop the story, unlike a lot of other shounen action shows. Put it on your backlog, at least.

I also recommend Perfect Blue and The Cat Returns regardless of them being movies.

My favorite anime is Natsume Yuujiinchou, it has 80 episodes/6 seasons, but it's very episodic so maybe you'll like it.
I also like K-On, Seto no Hanayome and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

If you like giant robots I can also reccomend Gunbuster on top of TTGL. And for some more stuff I like: Madoka Magica, Nichijou, Initial D First Stage (not seen any of the later series, so I can't say anything personally but I've not heard the best), and Sailor Moon (good bit longer than what you asked for, but it's one of my favourites (five series of at most forty six episodes)).

About movie, I didn't watch lots of them, but spirited away it's a must and all the movie from Satoshi kon (rip) are awesome (perfect blue, paprika, Tokyo godfather)

since people brought up Mushishi already, I'm recommending Natsume Yuujinchou and Mononoke (TV series). Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu and Sangatsu no Lion are also good
