Should I read the manga of Mushishi or watch the anime?
I don't know how many seasons the anime has and or if it adapts the manga properly (or possibly better). I would like to avoid bad/ugly animation.

I finished Kino recently and I believe Mushishi is in the same vein.

It's the same stories presented in the same way. The anime has consistent animation, good voice acting and atmospheric music so I prefer it over the manga.

The scans i've seen are botched with the inside of the pages missing and sometimes dialogue too. Really bad but i have not seen the anime to compare (i either watch the anime or read the manga unless it is really different).
