So for watching anime I just use mpc-hc just from downloading cccp, and sometimes certain lines of the subtitles don't display, but if I load the same file in VLC it works perfectly. No super fancy subtitles or anything, just fairly plain, and funnily enough both times I've noticed this the subtitles have been yellow.
So if anyone has any idea how I could fix that I'd appreciate it.
