What's a good, moderately safe place to torrent movies and TV shows? I don't trust pirate bay and kickass anymore, and yify doesn't have what I'm looking for (specifically Balls of Fury)

Safe as in no viruses or safe as in you won't get DMCA'd? Virus wise it doesn't matter since you are looking for movies the files won't do anything and with any crappy free antivirus the websites themselves won't do anything to ur pc. If you are worried about DMCAs que a yearly vpn, bit of an investment but if you torrent enough and value privacy it's not a waste

I recommend installing NoScript on Firefox. It's an extension that disables javascript and you can (more or less) selectively enable parts of it. Honestly when I'm browsing the internet without this extension I feel naked and unprotected. It takes a while getting used to it, most sites won't work because they're so reliant on js so you have to allow certain domains, you get the hang of it after a while.

This is correct if you want to be 1000% sure you are protected. But imo it's overkill for regular browsing. You could isn't all a portable browser and get that addon on it and then use that only for torrenting, safe without any sacrifices being made
