I have this idea for an open world game with MMO based multiplayer. The game itself would be based on a Japanese anime.
I know which company I want to hire to develop it, my idea is (probably a bit old) but I want to kick-start the whole thing with the famous platform.
But I have no idea if the Japanese developer would accept my order, and if they would, then how much would it cost, I also have no idea about my travel expenses to Japan, and I
don't know how much I would need to pay to the creators of the anime I want to base my game-idea on.

Most anime series start from a comic series. If you are able to draft a good amount of what your idea into a comic or even a script you might be able to convince the people you want into making an anime or get money to fund your ideas.

Worry about the first mountain you need climb then worry about the rest if you think you will somehow receive the money to support some half baked idea. From what you posted it seems you have no clue what you are in for or have made any simple research.

They're a bitch to get right, and even if you do, nobody's ever going to play it. As best as I can tell, your perceived role would be "matchmaker", bringing two companies together to work on a project. Or in other words, "helping" them do something they already could without you. If the IP is popular enough to have a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding, then yes, multiple people at each company have already considered the idea. And even if they hadn't, best case scenario they'd hear your idea, say "thanks" and then go do it without you. Why should they involve or pay you anything when you don't own the game code, don't own the IP copyright, and don't hold any patents of interest? Your idea holds no value in itself.

tl;dr Don't forget to do your math homework and eat your vegetables.

I want this game to have serious single-player also, like Devil May Cry, and Berserk, nice and enchanting story, and to make sure all my requirments are met, I naturally want to supervise this project, and as well as finance it.

Well this is what I came here for, few advises how and which priorities to set first.

I have already contacted one Japanese game developing company, asking them for a price and sharing my idea.

If creating MMO is too expensive we can narrow it down to a simple PS4 tittle and if successful, we can go on and continue develop the MMO idea then.

You don't need setting ideas for good games, you need gameplay ideas or concepts. There are more than enough amazing setting for MMOs out there, many of them criminally underused, but the hard parts are the design points of gameplay/combat, and the technical aspects of both that, and the environment. MMOs are incredibly hard to make once you hit more than a few people in the same environment. It is so much easier to make a single player game.
Your "ideas" part is simply not needed in any important step of the development of any game unless you have already worked out the rest with a competent team.

But why exactly this thread? You seem to already have decided to go through with it and focused on it so nothing we say could make you reconsider. In The OP you asked how much it would likely cost but later you posted that you already contacted a developing company so that is now irrelevant, you will get the answer first- hand, so there is nothing we can really help you with. However at that Japan thing: If you can found a whole game you don't really need to worry about expenses for travelling there.

I did not came here to be made to reconsider, I came because I believed someone can give me some useful tip. For example, I have already messaged the CEO of a certain Japanese game developing company. On the downside, he has not replied to me yet, and I've read the message have been *seen* by him or someone managing his account, not that this will stop me.

Practice hard to develop useful skills. Spend like 5 years drawing and other 5 modelling and animating. Learn to program and make some simple games so you can understand the concepts involved in the process. CHaracters, while being the most recognisable part in a game are the thing most easily replaceable, so if you are not sure if you can get them you can do what many developers do if not sure if they can use them and use placeholders. So during development there then are Noroto and Sosake (OC do not steal) wandering around the game world. That way if not getting the characters you can still release it as an own game by fleshing out the placeholders or if all goes right simply replace the models.

You're going to have to put in a few weeks worth of full-time work into something decent if you want to get the attention of even your closest friends man. And I don't just mean an awesome story. Because an awesome, long-winded story really doesn't sell itself today. You need some kind of art, and some kind of voice/music. Nobody's really going to take you seriously if all you have is an idea--BUT it really isn't too hard to make some decent music, some mediocre art, and code over 6 months-1 year to make something bretty cool that people would happily spend at least a half-hour reading/playing/experiencing.

And the real reason is I think such game has alot of potential (TO BE AWESOME) (Hi5) (4all supporters)
If the budget required for it is too big, we can produce only playable teaser (you heard me)
And make it single-player only, but this game, if done correctly and I will be there and dictate the terms and gameplay to make it happen like so.

Now we are talking, I have not told the game developer which is the anime so, I don't think I really fucked up. But since the late reply of the game developer, I am starting to wodner, if I should contact a lawyer or some other official Japanese person to do the communication for me since, I am afraid they might not take me seriously...

This is wrong. If this is the only merit of your idea, no wonder they're ignoring you; you don't know how to sell it. Why do you assume that Japanese devs should be interested in ideas related to Japanese anime? How many series have their own game? I bet it's less than 0.01%, so it looks like games about anime aren't inherently a good idea.

Protip: write a proper project proposal, chances are that you will give up before even finishing. Use a template or something.
