/pol/ blocking Comcast users

Why is /pol/ blocking Comcast users from posting?

I've tried two different Comcast IP addresses and I keep getting this.

It's not Comcast, it's your ISP that's blocked on 4chan. You have to go to IRC and talk to a mod and ask them to unblock your IP.

That makes no sense. Comcast is my ISP. My particular IP address is banned. I've tried two different IP addresses.

Just contact the mods on IRC already. Send them a PM saying your ISP/IP is blocked and give them your IP address. They'll fix it.
