Also, some advice: threads on /c/, I think, tend to succeed or fail based on the popularity of the topic. If it's niche, it won't have many replies regardless of the images you use. Luck is also involved: a good thread might fail the first try but do well the next, for no reason.

Just avoid making a duplicate thread, as stated in /c/'s mod sticky. Anything goes, as long as it's work-safe girls. A thread may or may not contain e.g. Touhou or KanColle pics, no one really minds as long as the topic itself isn't already up.

I picked up those pics above from Sankaku. The same rating:safe -command is in force there.

I like sankaku because it allows more than two commands per search.

You do realize it's more work in the long run to save the sample, post it, then delete it, then go back and save the full size image, right? Just get the full image in the first place and stop being stubborn.
