Trying to remember the name of a film which I watched a while ago.
I think it was swedish, or some other scandinavian language.
Anyway, the film starts (and ends, iirc?) with a guy getting picked up in the middle of a desert by a bus. He goes to a town where everyone is kind of weirdly cheery, but off and is assigned a job there.
Eventually he meets some guy/girl who lives in a basement and has huge amounts of light bulbs on his sealing. There is a hole hidden in the wall in a room in that guy/girl's house which they are trying to dig through. Eventually they dig through far enough to hear the sound of the ocean.
Please respond. Thank you.
