i need some kind of local communication solution that doesnt suck ass. ive got around 6 people who all ssh into the same machine for various reasons, and i need a way for all these people to be able to talk to each other at once. i thought about setting up opnsmtpd on the server for this person but i am a massive brainlet and even though i installed it and supposedly configured it correctly i dont even know how to actually use the hecking server, so i uninstalled that. for the time being we each have a folder called "mail" in our home folders and we sudo nano files into each other's folders. that system is terrible because it trains all these faggots to be okay with going into others home folders which is not okay the heck at all.
obviously it has to all be on the command line.
the server runs arch gnu/linux.

any ideas?
