/a/ has a long history of making recommendation charts. There's also a wiki. The charts and wiki were one of the reasons /a/ discouraged recommendation threads from being made, because people always tended go give the same generic answers every time, making the threads repetitive filler clogging up the board.

But nobody's bothered to make a chart in a few years.
