I want to get into anime and be steered in the right direction. Can someone post some 'essentials charts' for anime? /mu/ and /lit/ have some pretty good charts and I'm sure /a/ does too. I'm asking here cause /a/ is unironically cancer/unfriendly towards new people.

The only background experience I have is watching movies like Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Kaguya, Mononoke, Papikra, Akira, you know, 'pleb' shit.
