You don't need to draw 10,000 drawings before you get "good", improvement is about working smart not mindlessly grinding. Most of the real work happens in your brain and has to do with your observational skills. You could draw 10,000 drawings of pure shit and still not be making any progress if you lack the ability of being critical.
And that brings me to my second point, the idea that "everyone can draw!" is also a complete myth. Some people are sadly just not capable of this kind of critical observation, much like how some people are "tone deaf" and can't really distinguish between sung notes or are capable of singing.
