Tokyo Babylon has an okay OVA
Switch OVA is decent

Besides those I can't think of any good anime, no one ever adapts any good BL manga.

This. It just tried to hard to be deep by saturating scenes with meaningless stuff. But more recently Mahou Shoujo Site tried to do the same thing, just that using vaporware instead of the whole 'psychoanalysis' pseudoscience. I think Mahou Shoujo Site was almost as bad as Eva, but the ending made sense.

Eva's ending makes sense. I really don't know why people keep saying EOE is hard to understand. Sure it doesn't explicitly state everything but it's not hard to connect the dots.
