i'm trying to download full event vids from the iaaf youtube page for example this one

but i'm having trouble as i've tried hooktube and a few others and they don't work. any recommendations? additionally it makes it slightly more difficult as the vids are geoblocked in the united states

1) Go to youtube
2) Find Video
3) Go to the address bar and after the www. and before the youtubexxxxxxx you simply type "ss" without quotes or spaces. This will take you to a new page. Look for the link on the right, "download video in browser" and click. Chose format and the video is downloaded to your computer / device.
4) profit

Repeat steps 1-4 as often as you like. You can but the add-on for £20 for extra features, but this way works and its free.

Thanks! Do I have to download the program or is it browser based?

Also, are you in the US? I suspect my issue is that it is geoblocked for the US

Yes you do have to download the program, I am a UK anon so I am outside the US. But it worked for me and it is self explanatory and easy to use. If you have any problems with it you can always give me a shout.

p.s - not affiliated with the company and have checked it for spyware / spamware and trojans.

thanks. i dl'd it and it seems easy to use but unfortunatley it still won't work, probably because of the geoblock iaaf has on their videos. any workarounds?

the usa is literally the only country its not available because muh media rights. i was abroad last week and was able to watch it no problem. i've also been able to watch on opera (vpn europe) without difficulty. it's just downloading it that's the difficult part
