I'm looking for a printer that can efficiently print black and white text onto an A4 sheet of paper. I have no interest in color or multi-functionality.

What should I be looking for? Inkjet or Laser? Any specific brand? How big a difference does price make?

I'm currently on a Fuji Xerox Docuprint and it's a piece of shit. Won't print anythng because the magenta cartridge is empty, so I put a new one in (cartidges are fucking expensive), and the stupid thing keeps telling me to re-insert, and when I open it, it's made a mess of the powder. Bearing that in mind, please no garbage printers like this, and it's the main reason I want no color.
