There are ways to find out your email, how is that even a question? Your password is more worrying though. Unless you use the same password everywhere. Which you probably do.

This. To add more to this, you may have signed up on a website that wasn't as secure at the time and accidentally had your information leaked. As from personal experience. I had someone log into my dominoes account and order $150 worth of pizza. After looking my email/password up, I noticed it was on some russian forum.

change your passwords for every account you have that uses the email or screenname of the one you use for steam and you should be fine.

running a virus scan for keyloggers and such wouldn't hurt either.
