Now that you mention it, I don't know how to do that with my media/music player either...

I meant, there is a video I like, it is a compilation of songs and it is over an hour long, but I just want to listen to one specific song over and over... I'd just download the stand-alone version of the song but the specific remix present in the compilation is not available anywhere in that format....

Well, looping is often regarded as an advanced rarely used function. For example on VLC you have to open the advanced controls for the button to appear.

OP here. This is what I want to do:

The video is over one hour.

I want the segment between 08:06 and 09:34 to loop, nothing else. NOT THE WHOLE VIDEO. I already know how to do that: Right-click > Loop, same for the media player

I can relate to you, OP.

I watch the old 60s show Laugh-In, on netflix. If I could loop the part where Goldie Hawn introduces Dan on the news of the future, for every episode of the 3 seasons where she did that, I would pay money.

She was so fucking funny.

I used to listen to it on my walkman all the time, constantly pressing the Back button just to hear the chorus over over and over, wishing there was some way to isolate it and just listen to it in a perfect loop without verses lol

Youtube actually used to include a specific time loop a few years back... It had two separate boxes in which users could set Start and End time for the segment they wanted to repeat/loop.... no idea why youtube got rid of it, it was one of the coolest features for a music/media player ever :'(
