anyone know how to make these images on gnu/linux? I followed the PSguide.jpg except using Gimp and it seems to look the way it should, but when I change the gamma to 0.023 using ImageMagick like it says, it comes out wrong.

I think I got it working mostly, thanks though

I'm dumb and didn't realize the effect doesn't show up in my file explorer. That's why I thought I was doing it wrong.
