I personally care little for trite and cliche stories that are the staple of mainstream japanese animes. Something more obscure and with richer complexity (Tokyo Ghoul was just an example, but anything semi-obscure and slightly phsycological like Death Note or Steins;Gate would also be welcome). Just please spare me your stories of Japanese teenagers pretending to have problems.
