These are all old.
I'm about 20 episodes into Monster and it's good, but just seems to keep going for the sake of it - I can't believe there are 54 episodes left. I also have no idea why it's tagged as horror. I've yet to see an anime that is actually horror.
Instead of Summer Wars, watch Digimon the movie, specifically Digimon Adventure: Bokura no War Game! but the English dub.
I just use MAL and go to the recommended tab of anime I like or sift through the most popular. That said, some of the most popular or highest rated anime is shit; steins;gate for example.

Yeah, I know these charts are kind of old. Many I don't think is much interesting. I have seem a lot of movies in my old otaku days, but /a/ nowdays is boring with so much waifuism and endless discussion about best girls. It is toxic. I read all of junji Ito and some Kazuo Umezu and Hideshi Ino a short time ago, asked about some horror manga, they ignored. That's why I only see anime before 2010.

Well, Ghibli did not made any real bad movie. the most boring is Ponyo because she is annoying, but the visuals are soberb as always. It is a shame they probably never release a movie again with the death of Takahata.

I'm not well-versed in the DS catalogue, but probably not. Any chart without Ghost Trick is arguably incomplete, but the game gets overlooked a lot since it was released at the tail-end of the DS's life and didn't have much marketing. I've seen nothing but praise for it here, and can personally vouch for it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's no chart that includes it.
