Can someone help me to turn a recent acsm into a drm-free pdf? I only found tools for acsm's which can be opened with ADE 2.0 and older. (acsm only worked with ADE 4.x)

You can always do it the ghetto way and just screenshot every page. Works on everything all the time. I edited this Autohotkey script (autohotkey.com/board/topic/58115-auto-screen-capture-script/?p=365215) to work in Adobe Digital Editions. GET SOME: https://pastebin.com/gMgYsYwc

The OP in that thread explains how to use it. The "save directly" option he talks about is under Preferences > Destination now btw. You need to manually capture the area you want saved in Greenshot and then run the script and press the hotkey after that. Then you'll have a nice folder of PNGs that you can convert to PDF however you want.

OP here, thanks for the advice but alf actually states in the readme-files that he knows (version I downloaded yesterday, internal date oktober 17) no plugin/software for the drm format introduced by ADE 3.x and higher.
