Why has my fan gotten a lot louder since I got a new monitor (upgraded from 1024x768 to 1920x1080)? Since the monitor has it's own power supply I wouldn't think it'd be an issue with power consumption, and even when I'm playing games my CPU usage is rarely exceeding 50%. What gives? The CPU isn't getting very hot either.
