I want to learn how to speak Japanese because I'm a weeb who thinks that the languge sounds cool. I would want to try to learn it like I learned how to speak English but it doesn't seem that I'll be able to do that, I learned how to speak english by putting everything I use into English language and then just translated whatever I didn't understand, I don't think I can do that with Japanese though since everything is in kanji or whatever, should I try to learn kanji and then put everything into Japanese or should I do something else?
