Please help.

My router won't pick up internet from my modem even though the modem is working just fine (it gives me internet if I plug directly) and the router is also working fine, because I tested with another router and that one won't pick up internet either.

I ran out of options and even tested with another modem with no success. Any advice for this? I already reset routers to factory settings and rebooted modems to dead.
