A friend made me a list of anime to watch, but I want to know which ones are really worth watching

The first season of Shokugeki no soma is great but the others are shit. Read the manga, the art is great.
Beelzebub and Owari no Seraph are nice series, but I'd recommend the manga.
If you're going to watch Zero no Tsukaima and Toradora, try to watch Shakugan no Shana too.
Kaichou Wa maid Sama is okay. If you want another shoujo rec, try Cardcaptor Sakura, Akagami No Shirayuki Hime and Ao Haru Ride.
Instead of watching Kenka bachou otome, watch Ouran High School Host Club and Dame x Prince Anime Caravan.

Shit. Protag is terrible and keeps shouting.

Possibly the worst out of the big shounens but you can watch some. The quality falls as the series progresses.

Edge and fanservice. Watch at your own risk, some people like it.

Didn't like it, but I don't like volleyball so that might be the reason.

First season is nice but later it gets repetitive and animation quality falls.

Kind of fun but I still don't get female Bishamon. Second season is better.

Watched it but don't remember much about it. Didn't particularly like or dislike it.

For Shojo series it wasn't terrible but it depends if you are in a mood for that.

Melodramatic but the best on this list.

Fantasy story that bored me greatly. Adding shitload of lights doesn't make up for flat characters.

There is a couple fun gimmicks of tech vs magic but besides that it's no good.
