So I had enough of being a NEET today and finally decided to apply for work. Can someone suggest a site where I can build/write a creative and enticing Resume for free?

dear lord, you can do it YOURSELF using Wordpad on a pc, or whatever the hell apple computers use to compose text.

you put your name and your contact details. you don't have to put your age.

you list all of the work you've ever done that is relevant to the position you're applying for. if you're after a position with a supermarket, they don't need to know about your journalism experience.

then you list all the education qualifications that are relevant to the position.

THEN you list any of your hobbies that you think might get you in the door for an interview.

you should compose a different resume for each application, and never makes hit up, because if they check and find you're lying, they'll just drop the application in the trash.

You don't have any experience, so you won't be applying to any jobs that need experience and won't need a two-page CV. You won't even need a one-page CV, just a covering paragraph followed by your name, contact details, and a half-page listing any skills and experience you have. Tailor the covering paragraph to the job you're after, and try to make the skills/experience bit not completely irrelevant. Most CVs are far too long; every word you put on them is a word you're asking a potential employer to read as a favour to you. Don't be that guy, weed out all the irrelevant crap for us, and it's more likely we'll read it instead of passing it round, laughing at it, then putting it in the bin.

Get a job in a charity shop or similar. They won't pay you, but with a good reference from one you can walk straight into the same job in a real shop that pays money. And in the mean time you'll meet people that can teach you things and could find you a job.

Sure they do, just in a way that shows you understand the aspects of the job that are relevant to the position you're applying for. For example, if you're applying for shelf-stacking in a supermarket, and you used to be the guy that wrote 'top ten humous in current year' articles for a clickbait, then you list how the job needed you to work to a publication deadline, know stuff about food (which is something supermarkets sell), organise your time, etc.

Check whether or not there is some kind of job center in or near your area. They will be able to help you building a resume and cover letter. There's no lack of templates online if you'd prefer that.

you WILL lose a job opportunity if you insert your text into a fancy resume layout and the information becomes too hard to read. i've personally thrown out hundreds of resumes with sections bolded, right-hand-justified and in comic sans. keep it plain, keep it simple, keep it readable.

anyone processing job applications is going to be seeing hundreds of them. very quickly you move from looking for the things your company needs, to looking for a reason to reject an application. semicolon? pffft, dropped.

ms word templates are just as good as templates you're going to find online. in 99% of the cases, they're the same thing.
