Commit sudoku. But in the mean time, here's a list of defining animated films from the early 1940s to the late 2000s. I would suggest Jin-Roh and the first two patlabor movies. Don't watch the third one, it will ruin the previous two. Unless you are into "mothers turning their dying 10 yo girl into a giant, floppy-titted fish mutant that eats people" monster movies.

Beats me. Even though it says summer list, I barely got a chance to watch parts of any of them. Maybe 2 episodes into Mononoke (what a weird trip), 1 episode of Bubblegum before I gave up on it, and 6 or 7 episodes of Haibane but that was torturously slow.
