English militarymen who were against the Boer war

No.641204 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I'm heavily Anglophobic. There I times I believe that absolutely every Englishman is a perfidious evil villain, and the Second Boer war lends credence to those feelings.
I know some women opposed the war, and some English civilians, but were there any English soldiers or officers who vehemently opposed the completely perfidious conflict?
I'm aware Australian Arthur Lynch fought for the Boers, but I'm specifically referring to Englishmen here.
They don't necessarily need to have fought for the Boers, resigning service over it or verbally protesting how malicious it was would suffice. I just want to be proven wrong in my feelings that every Englishman in the British army deserved to die.
