>>644738ok. a month ago i started doing the same. my skin is known to be dry, i have tried everything from stopping milk to reduce acne, blabla. the lot. here is the most bulletproof way to get clear skin in order
FIRST DAY
step 1 EXFOLIATE
get an exfoliator. i use St Ives oat or wheat, its a light exfoliator.
ring a cloth with the hottest water from the tap and gently wet your face, dont scrub hard. apply exfoliator and in circular motions apply it on.
wash and rinse face with hot water using your hands
step 2 TONER
i use sukin's organic toner,
apply toner with cotton pad (IMPORTANT, get cotton pads too) on your cheeks, then forehead, then the whole face, dab it lightly, if you need to use 2 pads do it.
step 3 MOISTURE
, wait for it to dry, then apply aloe vera gel, i use organic aloe gel from amazon, aloe does wonders for your face (i bought an aloe plant so when i run out of gel i have a source at home) and it does wonders for your hair too. get aloe gel, and apply it after your toner.
step 4 PROTECTION
(if its day) apply SPF moisturiser, i use bulldog protective moisturiser, but will probably switch for a more organic one
step 5, OIL CLEANSING [The best thing that has helped my face]
at NIGHT before bed, apply an oil to your face, i use coconut oil, get a teaspoon and apply it to your face, the oil will sink into the pores and will help rid your face of dirt before bed. apply the oil, then again ring a hot towel, hottest you have, and let the towel sit on your face until its coolish this will open up your pores and clean out the face, have a feel and if your face is still a bit oily, ring it again and repeat until your face isnt oily.
after you oil cleansed, repeat step 2-3, do not exfoliate again, and dont use a SPF protector, its night, you're going to sleep, not going in the sun.
thats it.
only exfoliate like once a week if anything, it can cause you to have even more spots.
final tip. BE CONSISTENT. every day you need to do this.
