PC using less ram than installed

Alright, I'm a fucking dumbass and I would like some help with this shit.

>PC has 8gb of DDR4 ram
>PC Only uses roughly 4gb of said ram
>Checked Bios for anything
>Checked msconfig for anything
>PC says I have 8gb of usable ram
>Looked all over the internet for a solution, nothing has worked.
>How the fuck do I fix my shitty windows 10 laptop I just wanna fucking play Minecraft god damn it.

Using about 3.5GB for idle Windows honestly sounds about fine. From 8GB physical RAM I would expect to have around 4GB available for applications and you do.

I'm playing FTB just fine with only 3 GB RAM allocated. Throw out the massive bloat-mods like Chisel and everything should run perfectly (and have massively improved loading times on top).

I'm assuming his point is that these ~4.3GB supposedly use 92% of his memory per the column header which makes 100% ~4.6GB, not 8GB. Like I said - sounds about right, 3.5 for Windows and caching, 4.5 for applications.

see the size of the scroll-bar, the list goes on, op only posted a small part of it, if the remaining items listed use each ~40mb it would make up the remaining 4gb easily.
