>>653236this is my favorite bogdanov image, because it features Lubos Motl, a guy who managed to be decent enough to land a Harvard physics professorship, but because he couldn't resist his urge to REEE out on his blogs about lots of political shit, he got fired. then once he moved back to the Czech Republic, he wasn't able to make a good enough living off his blogging and wikipedia/stackexchange editing, so he decided to be the guy who signed his name off on the cover of the Bogdanovs' book. in other words, failed physicist used the Bogs to make money because he failed at physics. his blog is still alive and well, and he's in a legal battle with also-failed-physicist Sabine Hossenfelder as we speak; she accuses him of defaming her because they got in a blog flamewar over Strummia (a physicist who managed to torpedo his own career by requesting a spot at a "women in physics" meeting at CERN and then using it to go full-out misogynist in front of an audience of women)
