Hey guys, can you recommend a good anime series? I stopped watching a while ago and wanted to get back into something truly good.

Last thing I remember liking exceptionally was Kaiji and Akagi. I'm not necessarily looking for something similar to those, just basically interesting, exciting, creative. No generic male fantasy stuff, I see this kind of thing is still around.
