My point was that blaming system restore for not being able to restore a backup that doesn't exist was ridiculous, it was obvious it was never going to work, it was pointed out in the thread already that system restore had been turned off, and all

Hopefully next time you see something like this, you'll know that reenabling backups doesn't reach back through time and recreate data that was never backed up and is now overwritten.
