>>68463in case you haven't figured that out - it's not that simple. the sensors in cameras have a fixed orientation and a picture will always be just a sensor dump. in addition they save the orientation of the camera in exif and most image viewers then display the image turned accordingly. but moot started stripping exif on 4chan 2-3 years ago, because people kept posting geotagged dick pics. if you remove exif, the picture is shown as it was taken by the sensor - sideways.
so without digging quite deep or manually exif stripping the picture first, people posting sideways photos have no way of knowing how it will turn out on 4chan.
