How the fuck do I fix this 100% disk error?
I have a project due in 16 hours and this shit isn't budging and I'm seriously sweating now, I let it rest for a week now thinking I've been using it to much but nope, I tried the generic "disable superfetch, disable windows search" things that I saw on tutorials, nothing.

It could be Windows update doing random shit, that can cause shit to slow down.
Also try clicking 100% Disk so it sorts the list of programs by disk usage and then post a screenshot of that. Also try a restart

Also if you're against the clock, maybe try >>>/g/sqt, /wsr/ is a slower board but hey hopefully you get help anyway.

I meant try >>>/g/sqt ,the stupid questions thread. Not saying your question is stupid, but /g/ isn't a tech support thread and they'll often meme you if you come to them with stuff like this, unless you ask in that specific thread. Don't use /g/ as tech support.

You don't need an SSD, Windows is just silly sometimes and could just be updating. Click 100% disk so you can see what is using up your disk. If nothing sticks out, just let it run for a bit and Windows might finish its shit. Doesn't help too much given your deadline but that's all I can think of for now

This is scary op, I once had this and had to reformat my pc.
You should unistall some apps. Look at backup processes.
Download malwarebytes(even free is fine) or use some anti-virus(Windows Defender is fine).

try disabling windows update, this happens to me a lot but it goes away and i found these two services to be the bigger culprits, you can just enable windows update back when you're done with the project

Sometimes processes using the hdd are not shown in task manager. Download process hacker and check if anything is using your hdd

First cancel any windows updates. That is most likely the problem.
"antimalware service executable" also uses a lot of disk IO power I find. Just kill it.
also run chkdsk and sfc if you have the time.
You could also have a worm if you are noticing free disk space decrease and don't know why. Antivirus may or may not remove it completely
