I ended up watching a few minutes of it a few days ago, stopped because reasons unrelated to the show though. Seems good, but not great. Still, I only saw a few minutes and am aware of the premise so we'll see. Thanks.

Have you tried googling "anime recommendations"? The wiki has a ton of stuff you haven't seen. Consider opening up to older shows too. Watch some old Dezaki or WMT show.

I've seen a load of recommendation pages, but I'm either not interested or not in the mood for a lot of the shows on them. I'll probably get around to most of them at some point though.

I've just started Ashita no Joe, which I'm really looking forward to continuing (even though I had two major deaths spoiled for me).

Also I really like Space Brothers but ive always had a thing for space

For a a movie I would recommend Arashi no Yoru ni
Legend of the Galactic Heroes is very good for me personally its an 8/10 though
Shinsekai yori is pretty intersting
