I would like to have some wholesome anime recommendations, my life has been going down hill for the bast 11 moths and I just wish to be happy, so please recommend me some wholesome anime to watch

Flying Witch is nice SOL where nothing much happens, but in a good way. I find it very relaxing.

Yuyushiki, Gochiusa, Mitsuboshi Colors and Yuru Camp pretty much have no drama and I rate them pretty highly. There's also Machikado Mazoku airing right now if you want something to watch while it's still airing.
Also it depends how wholesome they have to be because some fun ones like Mahoujin Guruguru 2017 have slight pervy elements but are always done in a silly way.
I'm pretty sure all of them have made me feel happier at least, and with some like Yuyushiki and Gochiusa I've gone through them at least 3 times and it's still enjoyable.

The Cat Returns and Tokyo Godfathers are two of my favorites. They're probably two of the most wholesome anime you could find. Also, both are movies, if that influences your desire to watch them one way or the other.

I thought it was adorable and wholesome after the first episode, too, but then all the spoilers in the threads made me a bit sad.

Yeah I've seen the stuff that happens in the light novel and I just wanted to pass it, not going to say what happens just incase but it ruined the show for me
