Explain me how to connect my computer or modern console into my old CRT tv through composite or RGB scart connections, or how to use old analog consoles/DVD players/whatever to watch 480p mkv files.
480p old ass anime from ripped DVDs and VHS tapes looks like shit scaled to 1080p on modern displays. I thought that it was just that lower resolutions are just shittier, but I tried watching it on my old TV through XBMC on my original Xbox and it actually looks fine from an image quality standpoint, but it seems the Xbox can't into modern codecs.
