I remember a long time ago, circa 2005 or 2006, there was this infamous shock video going around on YouTube either called "super mario in real life" or just "super mario bros.". In it, two guys dressed as Mario and Luigi come across a turtle, and break the back of its shell by either kicking it or hitting it with a hammer, I can't quite remember. If I recall correctly, it ends on a close-up of the pink muscle underneath the shell. I remember it scared me to no end, but only one person has ever known what I was talking about, and they have a totally different recollection of the video. What they're remembering might not even be the same thing. Did I just imagine it, or was there an actual video like this?
