I've hit an anime wall.
I want to recapture the feeling of watching something like Inuyasha for the first time.

>romance
>shounen
Pretty much everything else I've found is either incomplete or kind of sucks.

I can recommend Katanagatari which is my favourite ever anime. Some cool things about it:
- episodes are 50 minutes long rather than your usual 24
- sprawling epic adventure feeling set in edo-era Japan
- main duo is amazing and has great chemistry
- character designs and artstyle are great
- good balance of comedy, storytelling and action
- one of the best endings in all of anime
