Looking for any and all examples of tax resistance in Japan, violent or non-violent.

There's an argument to be made that it was more socially driven than religiously. One lord (Matsukara Shigemasa) introduced heavy taxes to pay for the castle he was building, the next one (his son and the one rebelled against) put tax on births, deaths, weddings, etc. and would set anyone who couldn't pay on fire. He also at one point demanded seven years retroactive tax.
