So I'm building my first PC and trying to pirate Windows 10. But all the torrents I find are only about 4.5 GB. Is this right, or am I seeing Windows 10 updates? If not, what should I be looking for?

You can just download it from Microsoft's site. I think the size is about right.

It's the right size. But you should use ltsc.
There are no FORCED feature upgrades or automatic updates at all. Cortana, Defender, Edge, Hello, Store, Xbox are disabled.
Pre-activated.
1. Load ISO into Rufus 3.50 - Select MBR mode and Start.
2. Boot to USB in UEFI mode
3. Select Disk / Volume to Install
4. Enter User / Password

the automatic updates are annoying as fuck and they keep pestering you every other day about restarting your device, if you go for too long without restarting to finish the updates then the computer "casually" gets bsod'd and the device magically finishes updating

Sorry to hijack your thread OP, but it's kinda related. I'm gay and like Win7 too much to let go. What can I do? I built a new PC and don't know how to get it on there. Is it even smart to do it at this point?

I went from XP to 10 and I'm happy. It doesn't give me trouble to run old stuff. Win 7 will soon stop getting security updates, and then new programs will stop supporting it as well. It's probably better to jump in on 10.

The biggest issue I've seen from folks who went from Windows 7 to 10 is the lack of drivers for old hardware.
