Looking for some things that go along these lines:
>not iseki
>not slice of life
>no romance, or at least the story isn't about romance
>not moe
>comprehensible story that comes to a conclusion by the end
>has concluded
A friend tried to get me to watch the newer She-Ra that was released on Netflix, tried to watch it online, didn't care for the fat chick, gay black guy, and the general stupidity of everyone that you see in kid's shows. Is there something like that, but done properly? Where someone is fighting for what they see as right without all the excess dumb shit?
I've enjoyed manga such as houseki no kuni, gakkou gurashi, girl's last tour, and the likes, if that helps.
