I have some experience in editing pictures but I'm trying to edit a video and make a gif.

What I need is to add a static object to the video (a hat on a person's head) and make it stay on their head as they move throughout the frame.

Is there any simple way to do this?
It's only a 6 second clip and it doesn't have to look realistic so I'm assuming it can't be too complicated.

I tried downloading blender and was instantly lost.
